Tuesday

Today I went to the river in Rasigueres with mom, dad, Eloise and Alain. We met them at the airport when we were waiting for our rental car to arrive. They are staying in the town closest to us. Me and Eloise played catch with a ball in the water. I swam all the way out to mom and then back to shore. We had dinner with Alain, Eloise and Angeline and had a freezy for dessert.
We went to the next town called Planezes to a music festival where bands were playing. Eloise and I played tag and watched a puppet show. I am having trouble understanding people here. There was a thunder and lightening storm when we got home. Lots of rain.

  1. Hi Andrew - how are you? How come you are having trouble understanding people? We've were just playing our Wii tonight. I miss you, Love Jonas

Hi Andrew - Elija said at the dinner table "Ya'll want a sip of soda?" My mom told us a story about when she and Auntie Jacqui were in Italy and met some Americans and that's what they said for "do you want some pop?" How do the French say that? Hope you are having fun!

  2. Hi Andrew - is it sunny there when it is not raining and thunder? What is it like there? Is it really different from here? Your house looks cool! How big is it? Are there other people living there? By the way, "hi"! (or should I say bonjour? or salut?

  4. Hi Jonas, Rowan and Elija:
The reason I am having trouble understanding people here is because they speak a different language. They all speak french. (francais)

For pop, people say Est-ce que tu veux un soda?

When it is not raining and thundering, it is sometimes cloudy, foggy, sunny and right now, very windy...but warm and sunny.

It is quite different from home here in France, but very beautiful.
    Andrew
